Design and Make

I know I mentioned the build-your-own Converse, but when I previously tried to go on it, the web crashed.

So I went on it again today, and now I am addicted. It is beyond awesome to play with - and so customisable! Usually, they let you change a single colour or something, but here you can actually change everything, with prints and colours! Here is my first go. I am loving it so much! Now I just need to rustle up the money to order them in from America...also, the willpower to not plaster the blog with millions of different versions of Converse...

MY boyfriend's son got a pair of his version of converse for his birthday. Freaking cute. I fought off the urge not to copy. I LOVE CONVERSE ONE STAR!

I have a pair of black on black high top converses. I can't really wear them. I need arch support, and converses have none, so although there are many colors (feel free to add a u if necessary) I would like, I just can't justify it. Not without figuring out how to add pads that don't take up the entire inside of the shoe...

Ah, Citizen Rosebud, you should totally copy! There are so many different farics and ways to make them unique that it wouldn't be actually copying anyway - it would be taking a great idea and making it yours! Converse rocks!
Thanks Eye! I want mine so bad...I also want 100 other versions...:S
Kionon - I have high arches too, but I found some wool pads at a craft fair that you can slip in and they hold up your arch but don't bulk up the rest of your shoe. You might be able to find them/manufacture them yourself through Google?
